Randio is one plan: $99 a month, 750 outreach catalogs included, and 8.5% of what sells through a Randio offer. Only one of those three moves with decisions you make before the month starts, so that is the one to plan. The other two follow sales.

What you plan: outreach catalogs

An Outreach campaign emails one personalized catalog to each person in its customer group. Each email that actually goes out counts as one outreach catalog. Nobody else is counted. Unsubscribed, bounced and suppressed addresses are skipped before anything is sent, and so is anyone already holding a live catalog from another campaign.

So the group's size is a ceiling, not the bill. A group of 1,000 with 850 reachable people uses at most 850 catalogs.

750 are included every cycle. Past that, each one is $0.02, and nothing stops at 750. The campaign keeps sending and the extras show up on the bill. Ten thousand extra catalogs is $200.

Large groups do not all go out at once. Randio sends in short windows and holds each store to a daily limit that starts small for a new list and grows as the list proves clean, so a big first campaign spreads over several days. A catalog counts in the cycle its email left in.

What you don't plan: Storefront

A Storefront campaign shows offers on your store, to logged-in customers or to guests, and builds catalogs as visitors arrive. Those catalogs are not counted. Storefront costs nothing until it sells, and then only through the commission. Leaving one running all month has no standing cost beyond the $99 you already pay.

The commission, in one paragraph

When an order is paid and it contains an item bought at a Randio price, 8.5% of that item's discounted line price is charged. Nothing else on the order and nothing else in the store is touched. An offer that was shown but not bought costs nothing. It is charged once, when the order is paid, and it appears on the same Shopify bill as the base fee.

Sizing your first cycles

These are starting points, not rules. Your products and your list decide the right numbers; what carries over is the reason behind each range.

  • Group size: 50 to 200 per campaign for the first two or three runs. Small enough that you can read what one campaign did, large enough that one or two orders are not the whole story. Below 50, a single customer moves the conversion rate by two points, so you learn little.
  • Campaigns per cycle: two or three. Enough runs to change one thing between them, such as discount depth, product mix or the group, and see which way the result moved.
  • Then scale what worked. Larger groups, same strategy. The cost per catalog does not change, so the question is only whether the response holds at size.

The arithmetic is reachable people × campaigns = catalogs:

Reachable Campaigns Catalogs Extra Cost before commission
150 3 450 0 $99
250 3 750 0 $99
1,000 4 4,000 3,250 $99 + $65 = $164

Reading the bill

Settings → Billing shows the open cycle: outreach catalogs used against the included 750, and commission accrued on paid orders. History keeps every closed cycle. The dashboard carries the same two numbers all month. Catalogs are the number you can predict; commission only grows after you have been paid.

What this is not

There are no credits to run out of, no cap that pauses a campaign, and no tiers to move between. Cancelling the plan ends the service rather than pausing it. The plan page on Shopify, where you approved the subscription, is the authoritative statement of the terms.
